•Be current high school seniors from a designated high school in Dickinson, Ottawa, or Saline counties in Kansas
•Plan to enroll in full time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year 
•Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

•Minimum gpa of 3.0 or ACT of 22

•All high school seniors working for Hy-Vee and/or subsidiary who began their employment on or before September 15, 2012
•High School senior sons and daughters of full-, regular-, and part-time Hy-Vee and subsidiary associates who have a minimum of six months employment with the company as of September 15, 2012
•Applicant must be enrolling in college for the first time
