PLEASE NOTE: Not all scholarships are for the current school year.  The current scholarships have a due date in BLUE.  The scholarships with a due date in PURPLE are the previous year’s scholarships, but will possibly be offered again.  They are left on the website so students can see what will possibly be offered.

•Must be admitted to WSU
•Must submit an official high school transcript with a minimum 3.50 gpa
•Must have a minimum ACT composite score of 24 or SAT composite score of 1090 on file with WSU

November 1, 2016
•Open to students in grades 9-12
•Enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States, its territories and possessions; or in an overseas U.S. military/civilian dependent school.

November 3, 2016
•Have made a difference through volunteering
•Have taken part in community service activities over the past year

November 15, 2016
Must be a resident of an eligible state.
Must have attended as a junior and senior an eligible high school.
Must be a student in the 2016 high school graduating class.
Must have achieved a 3.50 CGPA or higher.
Must score 23 or higher on the ACT.
Must enroll in college the fall semester following high school.
Must work 240 hours in the 12 months prior to the start of college.
Must complete the FAFSA in 2015 using 2014 Tax Information. FAFSA EFC must be less than $7,500.
Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
Must not have been convicted of a felony. 

November 19, 2016
•Must have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.25 
•Must score well on the Garvey Scholarship exam
•Must have your completed application for admission to Washburn University. The completed application for admission to Washburn University includes: a $20 application fee, official high school transcripts, and official ACT scores

November 15, 2016   
•Any senior in high school who lives in and/or is attending a public or private high school which district falls in the 12 county NCPRC service area – Cloud, Washington, Clay, Lincoln, Ellsworth, Marshall, Mitchell, Ottawa, Jewell, Republic, Saline, Dickinson.

November 30, 2016
•Any high school senior who is a US citizen
•Male and females compete separately for identical awards
